Well there is a new version out called OpenOffice 3.2 that has some new features include:

  • Faster start up times
  • Support for Postscript based OpenType fonts
  • improvements Calc, spread sheets
  • And many more
Tip
If you didn’t know or never used OpenOffice when saving a word processor file in OpenOffice you can save it as a Microsoft word doc or many other file types so you can import it into word at a later date and vice versa a word file into open office.
